Burnt Sazerac

Ingredients
- 2 oz Bourbon of choice
- 5 dashes of Peychaud's Bitters (or any bitters you prefer)
- 1/4 oz Cassia Burnt Sugar Syrup
- 3/4 oz Absinthe
Directions
- Combine the first three ingredients in a mixing glass with ice - stir well.
- In a separate glass (this will be your serving glass), add the Absinthe. Char, rinse, and dump it out. (Click here to see how this is done.)
- Pour the drink from your mixing glass into the absinthe glass.
- Garnish with citrus twist (optional).
